has produced a wide array of images and styles throughout the years, his
fascination and exploration of textured surfaces is evident in most of his
work. A prolific painter, he frequently has several series of paintings in
progress at one time.
Mark Pflughoef studied art at the University of Wisconsin- LaCrosse,
receiving his B.A. Degree in art education, and a M.F.A degree in painting
at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. He presently teaches art at
Monona Grove High School.
